TR Logistics Raise Funds for NI Children's Hospice
A huge thank you to all the staff at TR Logistics Group, Belfast, we have just celebrated a very successful Hospice Big Coffee Break by presenting £600 to Northern Ireland Hospice!
TR Logistics’ staff member, John Hagan and fellow colleagues, decided to organise a Coffee Break to raise funds for NI Hospice, because of the excellent work carried out by the charity in the local community. John commented: “a great effort by all our bakers and a big thanks to all the staff who contributed.”
Funds raised from the 2016 Big Coffee Break, will go towards supporting the ongoing work of local NI Hospice community nurses as they care for local people diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting conditions in the local Belfast area and beyond.
Joanna Pawson, Events Manager at NI Hospice comments: “We are grateful to TR Logistics’ staff for their fantastic fundraising effort for Northern Ireland Hospice and hope that others will follow this wonderful example. Even if you host a Coffee break and it only raises £30, this will still be enough to fund an hour of specialist nursing care, to a patient in need. Our Big Coffee Break provides a great way for the local community to support our work and to raise vital funds so that we can continue to offer patients the individual care they need at the hospice and in the community. It’s simple to get involved and all we recommend is that you request a donation of £2 for every cup of coffee served.
If you decide you would like to host a Christmas themed coffee event in aid of Northern Ireland Hospice, please register at bigcoffeebreak.org or call the Fundraising Department on 028 9077 7123, where the team will be able to supply almost everything you will need including a free supply of Bailies Coffee to make your event a great success.
